Nadia, a young painter, walks out of her home only to find a manifestation of her depression staring back at her. It challenges her to think about her past to resolve the issues of her present: Nadia’s failed art career, the death of her father, and her complicated relationship with her alcoholic mother.
Butterfly is currently in the festival route and has been accepted into and awarded by the following film festivals:
WorldFest Houston International Film Festival, USA Film Festival, LA Indies Fest, and Venice Shorts Film Festival. Winner of the Jury Award at SCAD Atlanta's annual spotlight showcase of student films in 2022.
